LMCC has a 450 Acre farm in Kiboga, Uganda which is presently being developed to provide income-generating projects to support the Ministry and educate the surrounding communities on how to use the resources they have to attain better standards of living through agriculture using Foundations in Farming Principles. At present the farm has Ankoli and cross-bred Friesian cattle as well as growing rice, maize, vegetables and Simsim.
Drought has been an ever-present challenge over the last few years but, thanks to the generosity of many supporters, we now have a bore hole providing a regular water supply. Another generous donation has enabled work on sustainable farming projects to begin and we look forward to the continued development of the farm which we hope will eventually become a model training farm supplying the needs of the Ministry.
in 2014 we received two donations to fund a Goat project at Kiboga. We constructed a building and a fenced area for the safety of the young animals. From small beginnings the Goat herd has doubled in size over the first eight months to over 50 goats which will provide good revenue in the years to come.
Cultivation is underway and we should harvest two crops every year increasing the arable development each season.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
